How important android phones and cameras are in today’s era, you must already know. If you record a video and want to play it on your Windows PC, but the video won’t play, it can be frustrating. In this article, I’ll explain How to Fix Android Phone Recorded Video not playing on windows PC
Why do Phone recorded videos not play in windows PC?
The latest phones record video in High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) format, and many video players are unable to play HEVC video format. HEVC is beneficial for video quality and space-saving, but sometimes it creates issues when you try to play it on a Windows PC.
However, despite its advantages, HEVC introduces compatibility issues, particularly with older or less versatile video players on Windows PCs. Many traditional video players do not support HEVC out-of-the-box, resulting in playback errors or the inability to open the file at all. This is particularly problematic as newer Android phones often record videos in HEVC format by default to optimize storage and maintain excellent video quality.
